Hazel is a Specialist in Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic floor physiotherapy. She graduated with a BSc. in physiotherapy from Trinity College Dublin and has worked publicly and privately around Ireland in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Hazel is a registered Mummy MOT practitioner, following her studies in London and has been mentored by leaders in pelvic health. Hazel has further qualifications in strength and conditioning, dry needling and is a qualified STOTT Pilates instructor. Hazel is passionate about empowering women to recover from pregnancy-related issues such as prolapse, diastasis and incontinence. Hazel believes that women deserve to return to activities and sports of all levels and that no woman should have to live with long-term issues after giving birth.
Hazel is passionate about women’s health and founded the female physio in 2021 to spread awareness and information regarding women’s health. Hazel uses a patient-centred, total body and holistic approach to treatment.
Hazel is a long-distance runner and complements this with strength training and Pilates, she loves to try out new hobbies and exercise classes when time allows.
