Emily Gaffney

Emily Gaffney graduated from Ulster University in Northern Ireland with her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. She continued her studies and completed a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine. During her Masters she also completed her internship with Ulster Rugby providing great hands on experience. As well as this, Emily has certificates in Physio led Pilates.

Emily has worked in the NHS within both medical and orthopaedic settings. During this time she was treating a large range of patients with acute medical and musculoskeletal issues in a busy hospital setting. She was treating both pre and post op patients and assisting them to achieve their goals before discharge from the hospital.

Emily also has a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and has provided treatment for local rugby teams, NI women’s soccer, NI men’s futsal and in an ice hockey setting. She has also worked in a private practice setting in Northern Ireland treating recreational athletes as well as the general public. Emily ambition is to provide excellent care to the local community both in the sporting and general public populations, helping everyone to achieve their goals.

Emily continues to expand her knowledge through continual courses as well as making time for her own interests which include, running, hiking, yoga and keeping an active lifestyle.
